According to the Met Office, October 2020 ranks as the 5th wettest October since UK records began in 1862. Persistent rain between the 2nd and the 4th caused many parts of England and eastern Scotland to exceed their average October rainfall just five days into the month.

Not enough to rain on this love parade.
